Statistics show we are marrying or settling down with partners later in life. Usually by this time we have led independent lives in our own homes and have accumulated large amounts of possessions. As a nation of hoarders many people are reluctant to throw anything away, “that will come in handy one day” is a phrase any self storage company loves to hear. Once we do decide to settle down get married or move in with a partner two homes quickly become one, however the mountain of junk we just can’t bear to part with has to be kept somewhere.
