Container Conversions Create Endless Possibilities

Monday, 17th August 2009
When undertaking a container conversion it is important to decide on a budget before hand. With this in mind it may be worth considering whether to use a new or used shipping container for your modification. Depending on the changes you are having made to your container sometimes it can be counter productive to have lots of work done but not realise the full potential, as the donor container is a little rough and ready. The difference in price between a new and used container is negligible on occasions when taking into account the bigger picture. Custom containers can be converted to any bespoke specification, the design team and even the fitters will sit down with you and help with your own design or create one for you. The possibilities are endless and we are continually surprised by some of the ingenious applications people are using shipping containers for. Recycling shipping containers also ticks the green boxes. Quite often used shipping containers are piled up and left to rot. With a little imagination and some hard work on our part these used containers can be brought back to life and once again put to use. Shipping containers whether new or used are readily available in most locations. Their structural properties, the fact that they can be transported easily and the relatively cheap prices makes them an ideal candidate for conversion.
