Bullmans Announces New Container Depot

Tuesday, 14th May 2013

In keeping with the company’s expansion in the shipping container business Bullman Marine have now opened their second depot north of their existing facility. This new depot will provide additional storage, handling and repair for all container types covering London and Essex.

Having been in business for 39 years providing depot services for a wide range of container companies Bullmans have also diversified and now offer a complete range of related services including containers for sale and conversions throughout the U.K alongside self storage and transport.

Before containers were used cargo would be stowed break bulk above and below deck and Bullmans provided the labour and materials to lash this cargo at all major U.K ports. The company was approached by one of their clients, the first shipping line in the U.K to use containers, and asked if we could store a couple of these new inventions. As containerisation took hold more and more were delivered and the business evolved into its current form.

By providing high levels of customer service, modern equipment and management systems, all supported by an experienced and professional team Bullmans have been able to continue to attract more and more clients each year. The opening of our new facility demonstrates our commitment to our existing client base and our continuing expansion in the industry.
